Yesterday I turned 24 and took off my family ring. I realized that I don’t want to pass it on to my daughter if ever I have one. The tradition ends with me. I will make my own ring and it will be stronger.

Five reasons why I should have directed Canaan.

So yeah… I’m still sore over Canaan ep. 13. You have failed me Type-Moon. Here are 5 reasons why I should have directed Canaan.

1. I would make Canaan and Alphard’s showdown more interesting and kickass.

2. I would ERASE Alphard’s reaction to Canaan’s ‘awakened’ state in the last episode. I did not spend 12 episodes showing Alphard as a badass villain only to be freaked out when confronted by what she wanted the most in the first place.

3. I would NOT play the ‘in-my-heart-though-worlds-apart’ card between Maria and Canaan. That shit is so cliche it makes my innards reject everything. I’d rather kill Maria or Canaan. Canaan no longer needing Maria to be with her to bask in her light is pretty… lame. Way to go Canaan. Way to use someone and discard her completely once you’ve had your fill.

4. I would NOT spend episodes developing bonds that I will not deliver in the end. Hello Canaan, Maria and the stars? There is no point in it at all if I’m going to pull #3 in the first place.

5. Sham = dead. Nuff said.
